The Nation Sounds Off On The Eddie Long Scandal [Creflo Dollar | Sherri Shepherd | Roland Martin | T.D. Jakes]
Here are some videos seen round the world…
Everyone pretty much knows about the scandal concerning Eddie Long and the four young men who he has recently settled out of court with to the tune of $25 Million dollars. They accused him of sexual coercion, allegedly using his position as Bishop at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church – one of the more popular mega churches in the country – to coerce these young men into sexual activities.
Here is the testimony of Jamal Parris, one of the young men accusing Eddie Long in this lawsuit:
I first saw a video clip from T.D. Jakes, telling his followers to “just pray” for everyone involved.
Now that this case has been settled, I wonder what TD Jakes has to say about this now.
Here comes Creflo Dollar, who after the suit was settled conveniently refers the scandal as a “wreck” and tells members who have left Long’s church after the scandal to GO BACK.
Mr. Dollar, this is not any mere single wreck as if this were an one time accident that someone happened to find themselves in. It is more like a repeat drunk driver, wrecking multiple cars and paying off the victim’s families, only to be free again to have another drink and “wreck” again.
The original poster of this video Youtube’s NotYourTypicalNegro was so popular and so unpopular with Creflo Dollar’s camp they contacted YouTube to have the video taken off the site. Gee Creflo, these are YOUR WORDS what do you have to hide?
People all across the country are sounding off on this thing too. Here is one of my favorite responses from everyday people on the matter.
The National Stage
Sherri Shepherd professes her Christianity and her displeasure with Eddie Long and his recent antics, only to be cut off by a conversation on BRIDAL GOWNS? #booooooo
Roland Martin, commentator and writer for CNN, has proudly professed his Christianity and had this to say about Creflo Dollar’s Comments. Quite possibly the most scathing commentary I have heard thus far.
The sad part about all of this stuff is that all of these so called Pastors, Prophets, Prophetesses, Bishops, Apostles, Evangelists etc. WON’T SAY A WORD ABOUT THE INIQUITY AROUND THEM. They are too busy telling folks to get their next breakthrough, get their MONEY or telling em to SHUT UP and JUST PRAY while millions are marching into hell under false leadership.
